NFL star's secret for young players

I came across an inspiring story about NFL quarterback Bryce Young that really resonated with me as a parent.
What caught my attention was how his father, a licensed therapist, taught him breathing exercises as a tool to handle tough moments.
At his recent youth football camp, Bryce shared these same breathing techniques - teaching kids how to use them as a "reset button" when things get tough.
(And let’s be honest - every parents wants their kids to have a reset button!)
The kids on the camp were aged 6-14 - all learning breathing techniques to support their mental health from an elite NFL player. This is just awesome.

It's beautiful to see how a tool passed from father to son is now helping a whole new generation of young players.
It shows how we as parents can give our kids tools that go beyond just physical skills.
Just like we teach them to kick a ball or catch, we can teach them simple techniques to handle those tricky moments in sport and life.
Try this: Next time your child gets frustrated during practice, sit with them and take three deep breaths together. It's amazing how such a simple tool can help reset their mood - and yours too!
Remember, development isn't just about physical skills - it's about building those mental muscles too.
